The Rapalino winery has been in the family since the late 1800s, and in 1998 Claudio and I, Marco, began bottling our first wines under our own name.
We produce wine in one of the most renowned areas in the world, the Langhe, having its headquarters in the town of Neviglie, in the hills between Alba, Treiso, Mango and Trezzo Tinella.
Our winery covers an area of about 35 hectares planted with Arneis, Chardonnay, Nebbiolo Langhe and from Barbaresco and Freisa.
The new tasting room opens onto the Langa hills on one side and the aging rooms on the other. The view as far as the eye can see of the hills and the taste of its products in the glass are the right ingredients to address the present moment.
Some of our products, such as Barbera d’Alba “Lavagna” and Moscato d’Asti “Vigna Camo,” have been awarded Sorì Eroici recognition by the Associazione Comuni del Moscato, giving added value to products that enhance the hard work of farmers who have chosen to continue working plots with a slope of 40 percent or more.
In addition, we also specialize in the production of Metodo Classico DOCG sparkling wines, which we have chosen to decline into different types:
– Pas Dosé: 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir; for those who like direct and vertical wines;
– Extra Brut: 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir; 3 g/Lt residual sugar to enhance the fruity notes;
– Rosé Extra Brut: Pinot Noir only; for fresh, inviting fruit.
We have never used herbicides or synthetic products in the vineyards and have certified the winery SNQPI to seal our ongoing commitment to safeguarding the land.
In our winery we also produce a Nebbiolo Spumante Extra Brut “Nebiò,” which matures 60 months on the lees before disgorging and enhances the character of this noble and long-lived grape variety, and a totally dry Asti Spumante Metodo Classico DOCG, for which we harvest the grapes when they are just ripe, to enhance the floral and balsamic freshness of this aromatic grape variety.

Eine Weinverkostung in Piemont mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht und mit Köstlichkeiten aus der Region. Marco erklärt seine Weine, welche mit Sicherheit zu den besten der Region gehören. Sehr freundlicher und kompetenter Winzer. Allein schon die Fahrt zum Weingut war eine Reise wert.

This is an amazing winery tucked away in the Mango region of Piedmont. The tasing room has a beautiful view that showcases the area. They have a wide range of white, red and desert wines they produce. The owners were so accommodating, and were extremely welcoming.
During the tasing, they gave us a plates of meats, cheeses and other delicacies from the area. This vineyard has progressed with the times and did away with the Glyphosate almost a decade ago. Not only have they moved away from chemicals, they have developed really cool agricultural equipment to grow the grapes.
The wines were truly excellent, some of the best that I have had from this region. This vineyard, its wine, and the owners were hands down the best experience we had in our time in the Piedmont area.
Do yourself a favor, make a trip to Rapalino Vini.

Wärend unseres Urlaubes im Piemont, in der Casa Giromet, hatten wir das große Glück, eine Weinverkostung im Weingut Rapalino zu besuchen. Marco Rapalino präsentierte uns seine Weine mit höchster fachlicher Kompetenz. Das Reichen von piemontesischen Spezialitäten (mit Liebe von seiner Mutter vorbereitet) krönte die Verkostung. Wir werden diesen schönen Nachmittag nicht vergessen und beim Genuss dieser Weine zu Hause, uns immer an ihn erinnern.
