The wine-farm Cà Neuva of Abbona Sergio is a family-run business, established to meet the requirements of anyone who loves wine.
The farm is located in one of the most charming places of the Langhe: Dogliani.
It stretches for 10 hectares where there are the vineyards, the wine-cellar, the office, the tasting-corner and the house.
Outside the house, there is a wide colonial space, surrounded by a striking landscape of beautiful hills and vineyards. The Abbona family can welcome anyone who wants to visit the cellar, the vineyards and of course taste the wines. We have no parking problems (coaches, vans etc.).
Cà Neuva started its business in 1924 but since the end of 19th century the Abbonas have been winegrowers, handing on from father to son the passion and love for this work. This wine-farm blends tradition and technology both in the vinification and in the cultivation of vines, in order to obtain elegant, harmonic and genuine products.

all accompanied by tastings of tuna sauce, raw salami, bacon, lard, tuma with marmalate (grape must, apples, pears, walnuts and hazelnuts), biscuit.
Followed by a visit to the cellar with explanations relating to winemaking, possibility to buy the wines tasted.

Great wine tasting, accessible and friendly. Our guide was super knowledgable and most important of all the wines were delicious. We tried 6 different varieties including a 2018 barolo, which was exquisite, and each tasting was paired with a little bruschetta topped with salami, vitro tone pancetta, lard etc to compliment each wine. We had short cellar tour and we’re able to purchase some bottles at quite reasonable prices

Amazing experience ! We went to this winery randomly and we were not disappointed. We choose the tasting, 4/5 glass of wine for 10€ per person. It was the daughter of owners who made the tasting. It was amazing ! She told us a lot about wine, grapes, her family vineyards, and how climate change affects the wine production. Then we went to the cellar, where she explained us the process. There we bought 3 bottles of wine for 29€ in total.
Overall I really really recommend this wine tasting and buying wine there !

Silvia made us very welcome at Ca Neuva. The tasting was very informative and friendly; we are relative novices with regards to the wine from this region, but now we know a lot more! Their wines are delicious and you can tell that their passion for wine and the knowledge of their grapes, climate, land and production methods gained over generations within the same family has gone into their production. I would highly recommend.

This is my must stop every time I go to the Barolo region. Great wines with a very attentive Paulo walking through all or their wines. This is a small, fourth-generation family vineyard and their pride shows in their welcoming to the home. Fantastic values.
