Located in the heart of Monferrato Casalese, UNESCO’s heritage, our company offers high quality wines that bring the flavor of the Piedmontese lands to the table.
It has about 30 hectares of vineyards and 50 hectares of cultivated fields, but the name is best known for the wines sold throughout northern Italy.
The company is located in the small village of Sala Monferrato, nestled in the hills, and known for being the town with the highest density of land planted with vines in the province of Alessandria.

Ho conosciuto casualmente in aprile 2024 Alberto Rei in una trattoria a Salzano e così visto che era in zona per delle consegne, ho aprofittato ,incuriosito dal tipo di azienda descrittami, per portare a casa un po di bottiglie. Devo dire che l’esperienza è stata proprio positiva tanto da aver già fatto due nuovi ordini nel corso dell’anno ed aver condiviso con altri membri della mia famiglia la degustazione dei vini dell’azienda Mauro Rei. Quello che mi ha fatto pensare dopo i primi assaggi è stata la sensazione di trovarmi di fronte a vini schietti ed autentici senza fronzoli ma che sapevano esprimere al meglio le caratteristiche sia delle varietà che dei territori in cui sono prodotti. Anche se la selezione è ampia la mia attenzione nell’ ultimo ordine si è orientata sui Barbera d’Asti sia nella vinificazione in acciaio che in quelle riserva, vini che più di tutti soddisfano il mio palato. Da un incontro casuale ad una instaurazione di un rapporto commerciale che penso durerà per anni.

Siamo andati ad acquistare direttamente in Cantina dal Sig. Mauro Rei e il figlio Alberto, vinicoltore genuino e sincero. Il Vino Barbera da 14° è eccellente! Limpido, dal colore vibrante, qualità nei profumi e mantiene acidità e sapidità. In cantina abbiamo poi degustato altre qualità dal Grignolino agli Spumanti, tutti vini ottimi e di loro produzione.
